What is particularly noticeable is the robust 30 mm tube construction – this rifle scope feels solid without being unnecessarily heavy.

Technology and optical performance

The Vortex Venom combines a 24 mm objective lens with a variable magnification of 1-6x, resulting in a field of view of 126' to 20.2' per 100 yards. The AR-BDC3 reticle (Bullet Drop Compensator) helps you compensate for distance, whilst the fixed parallax is set at 100 yards. With an eye relief of 3.7 inches, the image remains comfortable, even at maximum magnification.

The turrets are capped for protection and offer 1/4 MOA click value with a maximum adjustment of 140 MOA for both elevation and windage correction. The aluminium housing weighs only 553 grams and measures 26.2 cm in length. For illumination of the reticle, this rifle scope uses a CR2032 battery.

Mounting and compatibility

This Vortex Venom rifle scope has a 30 mm tube diameter, which means you need suitable mounting rings.
