Centaur | 8mm Steel Target | LorNL

Construction and operation

The Centaur is a robust steel shooting target constructed from 8 mm thick steel and designed for long-term and intensive use. The target has overall dimensions of 42.5 cm (length) x 30 cm (width) x 67.5 cm (height) and consists of three separate components. Thanks to this modular construction, the target is easy to set up and disassemble. This makes the Centaur particularly practical to take to different shooting locations or to store compactly after use. With a weight of 13 kg, the target stands stable during shooting and provides clear feedback with every hit.

The legs of the target feature four steel, sharp points that function as spikes. This allows you to easily press the shooting target firmly into the ground on a field or other soft surface, providing extra stability during shooting.

Application and power range

This steel target is suitable for use with airguns up to 1000 joules, making it perfectly suitable for powerful PCP air rifles. The thick steel construction withstands repeated impacts from heavy pellets at short to medium range. Due to the high joule resistance, the Centaur is ideal for shooters who train with high-power air rifles and seek a durable, safe target that does not wear or deform easily.

Who is this shooting target suitable for?

The Centaur is designed for advanced air rifle shooters who work with powerful PCP systems and train seriously on precision and impact. Thanks to the demountable design, this target is also interesting for shooters who regularly change locations. Whether you train in the field, on private land or at a fixed shooting location: this steel target offers reliability, durability and ease of use. The unique design by LorNL also gives the target a distinctive character within the heavy steel target segment.
