Experience & Handling – FN HERSTAL® FNS-9 | Pistol | GBB (Gas Blowback) | Cybergun / VFC

With a length of just 19.0 cm, this is a distinctly compact model that sits comfortably in a holster and can be brought to bear in an instant, making it ideal in confined spaces. The weight of 0.66 kg makes this model relatively light for extended play sessions without fatigue. The Picatinny rail beneath the barrel makes it straightforward to fit a weapon light or laser to the replica. In use, you will notice that a GBB pistol delivers a realistic kick and responsive operation with every shot. Bear in mind that performance in cold weather (below 10–15 degrees) may decrease as gas delivers less pressure — something to keep in mind on skirmish days.

What makes the FN HERSTAL® FNS-9 | Pistol | GBB (Gas Blowback) | Cybergun / VFC special?

The FNS-9 combines a material construction of polymer and metal, providing a solid feel without unnecessary weight. The hop-up is adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune the flight path of your BBs to suit your preferred engagement distance. Furthermore, the FNS-9 automatically stops firing once the magazine is empty — a feature that lets you know immediately when it is time to reload.

Technology & Performance – FN HERSTAL® FNS-9 | Pistol | GBB (Gas Blowback) | Cybergun / VFC

As a general maintenance tip: use only silicone oil and avoid petroleum-based lubricants, as these can damage the rubber seals. View all details in the 'specifications' tab.

Who is this model suitable for?

The FNS-9 is particularly well suited for indoor play and all-round use at short to medium range. As a sidearm or CQB pistol, it fits equally well in a first-time setup or for an experienced player looking for a reliable back-up. The GBB system delivers the realistic kick experience with every shot, though bear in mind that performance may decrease slightly in cold conditions and that the rubber seals require regular application of silicone oil.
