The Arcturus X C.A.T. Versatile-5S Valor AEG FE® is an electrically powered airsoft SMG featuring an ARC V2 Centaur Split Gearbox and quick-change spring system. The replica is constructed from steel, aluminium, and polymer and measures 69 cm in length. The model belongs to the FE series, meaning the replica is equipped with a programmable optical control system.
Mechanics and Operation
Internally, the replica features an ARC V2 Centaur Split Gearbox with a quick-change spring system, a 23T ferrite motor, an 18:1 gear set, a rotary hop-up chamber, a CNC-machined POM nozzle with O-ring, and a CNC-machined stainless steel cylinder. The replica is equipped with the FE Optical ETU MOSFET, the programmable optical control system of the FE series. This system offers Pre-Cocking (7 levels), Active Brake (8 levels), adjustable trigger pull (5 levels), adjustable trigger reset (5 levels), an algorithm-driven progressive trigger, an adaptive hair-trigger, programmable firing modes, a binary trigger with ramping, low-voltage protection, and electronic safety. Firing modes include semi-automatic and fully automatic. The barrel output features 14 mm CCW threading. Batteries with a Deans connector are recommended; a Small Tamiya to Deans adapter is included. Battery and charger are not included.
Key Features
The 5.5-inch M-LOK handguard is constructed from aluminium and features RIS rails. The top rail is of the Picatinny type and provides mounting options for compatible optics. Additional mounting options are available via the M-LOK and Picatinny rails on the handguard. The controls — including bolt catch, magazine release, and fire selector — are ambidextrous and constructed from aluminium. The adjustable stock allows the length to be adapted to the user or equipment. The hop-up, as well as the wad and keep, are also adjustable. The included mid-cap airsoft magazine has a capacity of 105 BBs. The replica weighs 2.06 kg and has an inner barrel length of 175 mm. Included: airsoft magazine, cleaning rod, hex key, iron sights, and a Small Tamiya to Deans adapter.
Points of Attention
A battery and charger are not included. The replica is suitable for use with an 11.1V LiPo battery with a Deans connector.
