Federal American Eagle .223 Remington – Large calibre ammunition for the shooting range
The Federal American Eagle .223 Remington is large calibre ammunition specifically developed for use at the shooting range. These cartridges are suitable for sport shooters who shoot with an AR-15 platform and are looking for reliable training ammunition. This is a package of 20 cartridges from the brand Federal.
Technical specifications
This ammunition has a calibre of .223 Remington and features a Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) bullet with boat-tail design. The bullet weight is 55 grains. The boat-tail construction is characterised by the tapered rear of the bullet, which contributes to stable flight. The FMJ design means that the bullet does not expand upon impact but provides penetration.
Application within shooting sports
These cartridges are designed for shooting range use and training. The FMJ construction makes them suitable for shooting at paper targets and steel plates. Due to the non-expanding nature of the bullet, this ammunition is not intended for hunting purposes, but exclusively for sporting use at authorised shooting ranges.
Who is this ammunition intended for?
The Federal American Eagle .223 Remington is intended for sport shooters who train regularly with their AR-15 rifle. Shooters who value consistent performance during training will find suitable ammunition in this product.
