SK Rifle Match .22LR – Small calibre ammunition for precision shooting
The SK Rifle Match .22LR is small calibre ammunition developed for accurate shooting at the shooting range. These cartridges have a .22 calibre and are fitted with a 40 grain lead Round Nose projectile. The package contains 50 cartridges suitable for use in bolt-action rifles and other precision firearms in this calibre.
Technical specifications
These small calibre cartridges are equipped with a Lead Round Nose (LRN) projectile with a weight of 40 grain (2.59 grams). The muzzle velocity is approximately 325 m/s, with the velocity decreasing to 295 m/s at 50 metres and to 275 m/s at 100 metres. The energy at the muzzle is 137 Joule, at 50 metres 113 Joule and at 100 metres 98 Joule. This ammunition falls into the subsonic category, which means the velocity remains below the sound barrier.
Application within shooting sports
This ammunition is specifically developed for precision shooting at distances from 50 to 100 metres. The consistent performance and low dispersion make the cartridges suitable for target shooting and competitions at entry to intermediate level. Due to the subsonic velocity and clean combustion, they are ideal for use at indoor shooting ranges.
Who is this ammunition intended for?
The SK Rifle Match is aimed at sport shooters who value consistency and accuracy. Both novice and experienced shooters participating in precision competitions can benefit from the high batch consistency. This ammunition is only available to holders of a valid firearms licence.
