Sellier & Bellot .308 Win FMJ Screen Ammo – Training Ammunition for Shooting Simulators

The Sellier & Bellot .308 Winchester FMJ Screen Ammo is large calibre ammunition developed for training on shooting simulators and shooting ranges. These cartridges feature a 124 grain (8.04 gram) Full Metal Jacket bullet with a lead-free zinc core and tinned jacket. The .308 Winchester calibre makes this ammunition suitable for use in corresponding firearms during training sessions.

Technical Characteristics

This training ammunition is characterised by a low-emission NONTOX Boxer primer that minimises the release of harmful substances. The bullet weight of 124 grain combined with a specially formulated load provides reduced recoil. The tinned bullet jacket reduces friction in the barrel, resulting in less fouling after shooting. The ammunition is supplied in boxes of 50 rounds.

Application within Shooting Sports

These large calibre cartridges are specifically intended for training purposes on shooting simulators and practising on moving targets such as the "running boar". The Screen Ammo maintains the same point of impact as regular ammunition, allowing shooters to train without adjusting their sight settings. This ammunition is expressly not suitable for hunting purposes.

Who Is This Ammunition Intended For?

Sport shooters who wish to train regularly on indoor shooting ranges or with shooting simulators will find this Screen Ammo a suitable training partner. The reduced emissions make use in enclosed spaces safer. Novice shooters benefit from the lower recoil during longer training sessions. A valid firearms licence is required for purchase and use.
