Sierra .311 Cal 303 DIA 174GR HPBT MatchKing – Large caliber bullets
These Sierra MatchKing bullet heads in .311 caliber are developed for shooters using .303 British rifles. These are bullet heads with a weight of 174 grains and a hollow point boat tail (HPBT) design. The bullet heads are supplied in a package of 100 pieces.
Technical specifications
The bullet heads have a diameter of 7.7 mm/.311 inch, specifically for the .303 British caliber. The hollow point design provides a small meplat at the tip. The boat tail shape reduces air resistance during flight. The bullet weight is 174 grains with a tolerance of ± 0.3 grain. The jacket is manufactured with high concentricity for consistent performance.
Application in shooting sports
These bullet heads are suitable for precision shooting at longer distances. Thanks to the boat tail design, they maintain their velocity and stability over greater distances. They are intended for reloading cartridges for .303 Lee-Enfield rifles and similar firearms in this caliber.
Who are these bullet heads intended for?
Sport shooters who reload their own ammunition and value consistency will find this a suitable product. The bullet heads are intended for shooters with experience in reloading cartridges. A valid firearms licence is required for use of these bullet heads in combination with a firearm.
