These large calibre cartridges from Geco are developed for sport shooters seeking precision and control. This concerns 9mm Luger ammunition with a Full Metal Jacket Flat-Nose (FMJ) construction and a bullet weight of 154 grain. The subsonic property means this ammunition remains below the speed of sound, resulting in less noise and recoil.
Technical characteristics
The flat-nose construction provides a large frontal surface area, which contributes to the stabilisation of the bullet during flight. With a bullet weight of 154 grain (10 grammes), this ammunition offers more mass at the same cartridge length. The calibre is 9mm Luger, suitable for use in pistols with a barrel length from 150 mm. The ammunition is supplied in packages of 50 cartridges.
Application within shooting sports
This large calibre ammunition is particularly suitable for precision shooting at static targets. The flat-nose construction provides shoulder stabilisation, which has a positive effect on accuracy. Due to its subsonic character, this ammunition is ideal for indoor shooting ranges where noise reduction is desired.
