AKS74U (AVS74U) | 42rds | GBB | Magazine | VFC

This VFC GBB magazine is specially developed for VFC's AKS74U replicas. With a capacity of 42 rounds, this magazine offers a realistic mid-cap experience for Gas Blowback systems. The robust design in bronze-black finish perfectly matches the authentic appearance of the AK74 platform and adds functionality without compromising performance.

Technical characteristics and compatibility

This magazine has a capacity of 42 BBs and is fully manufactured from metal for maximum durability. With a weight of 0.388 kilogrammes, it feels realistic without becoming too heavy during extended skirmishes. The magazine fits VFC AK74 GBB replicas and uses gas as its power source. For optimal performance in mild temperatures or indoor use, standard Green Gas is sufficient. In colder weather, Red or Black Gas is recommended for reliable gas pressure and consistent blowback operation.

Use in practice

You load this magazine by pressing the spring-loaded follower downwards and inserting BBs via the top. You fill the gas reservoir via the fill valve on the bottom. As a mid-cap magazine, the BBs remain silent during movement, unlike hi-cap magazines where BBs can rattle. This makes it ideal for tactical scenarios where noise discipline is important. The metal construction ensures a long service life, even with intensive use and regular magazine changes.

Who is this magazine suitable for?

This airsoft magazine is perfect for players who choose VFC's GBB AK74 platform. It particularly appeals to milsim participants and tactically-minded players who value realism and reliability. The mid-cap capacity forces you to think tactically about ammunition management, whilst the sturdy metal construction lasts for years. For beginner GBB users, this is an excellent choice due to its simple operation and compatibility with standard Green Gas.
