BF-88E Walkie-Talkie | Set of 2 | Baofeng
The BF-88E operates on PMR446 frequencies and features 16 pre-programmed channels. The maximum transmission power is 0.5 watts and the walkie-talkie is fitted with a fixed antenna. This makes the model designed for use within European PMR446 specifications.
Simple operation
The controls have been deliberately kept straightforward. Use the rotary knob on top to select the desired channel, and adjust the volume level via the separate volume knob. Communication is then handled via the large Push-To-Talk button on the side.
This makes the BF-88E suitable for situations where a walkie-talkie primarily needs to be reliable and fast, without complex menus or settings.
16 PMR446 channels
The Baofeng BF-88E features 16 PMR446 channels. When both walkie-talkies are set to the same channel, you can communicate with each other directly.
In addition, the walkie-talkie supports CTCSS and DCS codes. These allow you to separate user groups when multiple people are using the same PMR channel.
VOX hands-free communication
With the built-in VOX function, the BF-88E can automatically begin transmitting as soon as you speak. This means you no longer need to press the Push-To-Talk button each time. This can be particularly useful during work or activities where you need to keep your hands free.Rechargeable 1500 mAh battery
Each walkie-talkie is supplied with a 3.7 V 1500 mAh Li-ion battery. Thanks to the battery-saving function, energy consumption is reduced when the walkie-talkie is not actively in use.
The included USB chargers allow the walkie-talkies to be recharged with ease.
Compact and practical
Weighing approximately 140 grams, the BF-88E is relatively lightweight and easy to carry. The included belt clip allows you to attach the walkie-talkie to, for example, a trouser belt, vest, or equipment.
The walkie-talkie also features a built-in LED torch, channel scan, automatic squelch, and low battery voltage warning.
