Our experience with the BinTac T50 Extreme
What immediately struck us about this air rifle is the well-thought-out construction. The aluminium housing feels solid without becoming excessively heavy. The short 9-inch barrel makes it surprisingly manoeuvrable for such a large calibre, whilst the semi-automatic operation ensures smooth follow-up shots. The system with rear tank plus two front tubes provides a total capacity of approximately 600cc - sufficient for at least 12 powerful shots from a single fill.
Technology, performance and variants
The T50 Extreme operates on a PCP system with a maximum fill pressure of 310 bar (4500 PSI). This model has a fixed configuration: calibre 12.7mm (.50), 375 joule energy output, length of 53cm, barrel length of 228.6mm with M18x1 thread at the barrel end, and a magazine capacity of 6 shots. Use and operation
This air rifle features an ergonomic pistol grip that is comfortable for both left and right-handed shooters. The folding stock reduces the total length from 53cm to approximately 21 inches for transport. Loading is done via the two supplied 6-shot magazines that slide in and out smoothly. Please note: never shoot below 2200 PSI fill pressure to protect the system. The air rifle is supplied complete with case and fill nipple.
