Vector Optics Bubble Level 11mm Dovetail – spirit level for your rifle scope

This spirit level from Vector Optics is a compact accessory that helps you align your rifle scope perfectly horizontal on an 11 mm dovetail rail. Small in size, but indispensable when your optics are mounted at an angle and your shots consistently fall off target.

What we think of this spirit level

Honestly? This is the kind of accessory where you think "do I really need that?" – until you use it. We found it surprisingly useful when zeroing in: click it onto the rail, check that the bubble sits neatly between the lines, and you know for certain your rifle scope isn't tilted. The bright green fluid is clearly visible, even in low light, and the finish feels more refined than you would expect from such a small component.

Design and construction

The housing is made from 6063-T6 aluminium, providing a lightweight yet sturdy construction that won't deform with repeated mounting and dismounting. Weighing just 11 grams and measuring 47 mm in length, it adds virtually nothing to your setup. The bubble vial is positioned on the side, so you can comfortably read it from your shooting position without having to look over your optics.

The finish is a matte black coating, which reduces reflections and looks clean alongside your existing optics. An Allen key is included to tighten the mounting screw – in short, you can get started straight away.

Mounting and compatibility

This spirit level is specifically designed for an 11 mm dovetail rail, which is commonly found on traditional air rifles and small-calibre aiming devices. The side-mounted bubble vial does not obstruct your line of sight, allowing you to mount it just in front of or behind your air rifle iron sight. If it does not fit your rail, check whether your device may have a Picatinny rail – Vector Optics offers a separate variant for that purpose.

The spirit level is supplied as a standalone unit, without additional rings or adapters. It is secured using the included Allen key via the side screw.

Who is this spirit level intended for?

Are you a sport shooter or dedicated air rifle user who wants consistent results at longer distances? Then this is precisely the kind of detail that makes a difference. A misaligned optic causes deviations that increase the further you shoot – and that is exactly what this spirit level helps you avoid. It is also practical for those who regularly swap optics between different air rifles and want to realign them each time without guesswork.
