Conversion Connector for Next Gen M4 Sopmod Stock | Tan | Tokyo Marui

This conversion connector converts the original connection system of your Tokyo Marui Next Gen Recoil Shock M4 to the more common small Tamiya connector. This allows you to connect your existing LiPo or NiMH batteries with Tamiya connector directly, without separate adapters. You use this AEG (automatic electric gun) connector upgrade when you want more flexibility in your battery choice or want to standardise your wiring across multiple replicas. It is a drop-in solution that adapts the connector in the Sopmod stock.

Technical specifications

The set consists of brass contact strips (blades) with accompanying wiring in red and black, finished with a T-connector (Deans-type) and Tamiya connector. The plastic housing and connector blocks have a tan finish. The brass blades handle the transfer to the contact system in the gearbox of the Next Gen. The wiring features heat shrink tubing on the solder points. The set is supplied with x1 Prometheus Conversion Connector for Next Generation M4 Sopmod Stock in tan.

Compatibility and application

This connector is specifically designed for Tokyo Marui Next Gen Recoil Shock AEGs (automatic electric guns) on the M4 / AR15 platform. It fits in the Sopmod stock where the original connector is located. Installation requires disassembly of the stock section and correct placement of the blades and plastic housings, so some experience with opening your Next Gen stock is recommended. For a standard Next Gen M4 build, this is a suitable modification when switching to Tamiya wiring.
