FN® 509 | 20rds | GBB | Magazine | Cybergun

This is a gas magazine for the FN® 509 gas blowback replica by Cybergun. It is a pistol magazine with a capacity of 20 BBs, built for the GBB (gas blowback) platform. The magazine is fully licensed with FN Herstal engravings and is constructed from metal, making it suitable for players looking for an authentically styled spare magazine for their FN 509. The added value lies primarily in its sturdy construction and reliable feeding via a high-quality steel spring.

Technical specifications and compatibility

The housing is manufactured from metal in black, making the magazine robust and providing sufficient weight for realistic handling. The capacity is 20 BBs and the power source is gas. This GBB magazine is compatible with the FN 509, specifically the EMG FN 509 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol. The required gas may vary with temperature: in mild conditions or indoor skirmishes, standard Green Gas is sufficient, whilst in colder weather Red or Black Gas is recommended for reliable performance and consistent blowback. The steel spring ensures consistent feeding of the BBs.

Practical use

You fill this magazine simply via the gas valve at the base and load the BBs from above through the feed lips. Due to the metal construction and gas reservoir, the magazine feels solid when inserted into the replica. Please bear in mind that performance depends on the type of gas used and the ambient temperature. As a spare magazine, you can combine this with your existing FN 509 setup, allowing you to reload more quickly during a skirmish without interrupting your playing time.

Who is this magazine suitable for?

This magazine is intended for users of the FN® 509 gas blowback replica who are looking for an officially licensed spare magazine. It is suitable for the recreational player who values reliable feeding, as well as the tactically minded skirmisher who wishes to carry multiple magazines. Thanks to its metal construction and straightforward gas valve, this magazine is easy to use and maintain. Those who play primarily outdoors in colder conditions should consider a higher-powered gas type for optimal performance.
