Personal experience with this airsoft replica
The Shogun team is impressed by the weight and balance of this Kar98. At 3.3 kilos, this replica feels solid and authentic. The bolt-action operates smoothly and the shell ejecting system is a pleasure to use – when you pull the bolt back, the dummy shells are actually ejected from the rifle. The wooden stock sits comfortably in the shoulder and gives you the feeling of holding a historical piece.
What makes the G980 Kar98 | Shell Ejecting | Gas | G&G Armament special?
This replica is an exact reproduction of the historic Mauser K98. The dark wood combined with the cast aluminium receiver gives this model a museum-worthy appearance. The unique shell ejecting system sets this Kar98 apart from other replicas – a feature rarely seen in the airsoft world. G&G Armament is known for their attention to detail, which is evident in every component.
Technology & performance
This gas-powered replica delivers a consistent 360 FPS with 1.2 joules (measured with 0.20g BBs). The barrel length of 577mm ensures excellent long-range accuracy. The single-shot system with adjustable hop-up gives you full control over every shot. Thanks to the absence of blowback, all the energy goes directly to the BB, resulting in consistent performance without energy loss. Curious about all the technical details?
