Gear Set CNC | 13:1 | Gate

This gear set forms the heart of your AEG gearbox and determines the rate of fire and trigger response of your replica. A 13:1 gear set increases the cycle speed significantly compared to standard ratios, giving you faster semi-auto response and a higher rate of fire on full-auto. You replace a gear set when your current set is worn out, when you install a different motor or when you optimise your build for speed. The airsoft gear set upgrade process requires disassembly of the complete gearbox.

Technical specifications

This CNC gear set is made from high-quality steel that has been precision-milled for minimal tolerances. The black finish provides a professional appearance in your gearbox. The sector gear features a precisely positioned tappet plate control pin that optimises nozzle timing. The gears are designed for use with springs up to M160 on semi-auto and M140 on full-auto. The 13:1 ratio means that the motor makes 13 revolutions for each cycle of the sector gear.

Compatibility and application

This gear set fits standard V2 and V3 gearboxes and works with both traditional brushed motors and modern brushless motors. Installation requires advanced technical knowledge, shimming experience and correct adjustment of motor height. This gear set is ideal for high-speed builds where trigger response and rate of fire are priorities. Gate has developed this set in collaboration with SOLINK MOTOR, specifically for demanding airsoft builds where reliability and performance come together.
