PCP Pump MK5 – Hand Pump for Your PCP Air Rifle Setup

The Hill PCP Pump MK5 is the fifth generation of the original hand pump design for PCP air rifles. This extra heavy-duty version features a large metal footplate for stability during pumping and comes with a flexible hose with a 1/8 BSP female connector. The technical advantage lies in the improved leverage mechanism, which requires less effort per pump stroke while maintaining a high pump volume.

Technology and Application

This hand pump delivers the required high pressure for filling PCP air rifle cylinders up to 200+ bar. The design combines a polymer pump body with metal reinforcements at critical points. The included hose with 1/8" BSP connector fits directly onto fill probes from brands such as Shinsung, Daystate, Logun, FX, BSA, and Air Arms. To calculate the number of pump strokes, use the formula: (Final pressure - Starting pressure) x Cylinder capacity / 0.225 = Number of strokes.

Ease of Use and Integration

This pump operates standalone and does not require an external power supply or compressor. The system can be expanded with a Dry-Pac filter for absolutely dry air – essential for maintaining your PCP system. The pump can be disassembled for field maintenance in less than 5 minutes, meaning you can replace or clean parts on the spot. The longer, more flexible hose makes connecting to various air rifle configurations easier.

Who is this hand pump intended for?

The Hill PCP Pump MK5 is designed for PCP shooters who want to be independent of external filling stations or diving cylinders. It is ideal for users who want to fill their air rifle at home or at the shooting range without having to carry heavy equipment. Thanks to the Hill Limited Lifetime Warranty, this is an investment for shooters who want reliable pumping for years to come, whether you shoot recreationally or compete in matches.
