The MEW CNC hop-up chamber by Maxx Model is built for Wolverine MTW HPA replicas and locks the interaction between bucking, nub, and inner barrel in a way that prioritises consistency. Technical specifications

The chamber is CNC-machined from aluminium and features a red finish on the adjustment ring and the rear inlet section. The hop wheel is numbered for repeatable settings. Instead of a rectangular nub, this unit uses a 360° round nub, which provides a more even contact surface with the BB. The inner barrel is secured with an aluminium C-clip in combination with a collet-centring system, keeping the barrel firmly and centrally positioned. The rear HPA inlet is modular and can be removed and reinstalled. This is the first time worldwide that a collet-centring principle has been applied to an M4 hop-up.

Compatibility and application

This hop-up unit is designed for the Wolverine MTW HPA series, including the Milspec, Forged, Billet, and MTW-9 models. The modular inlet is compatible with the 2026 Maxx HPA systems, making the unit suitable for both standard MTW builds and more advanced HPA setups. Installation requires some experience with disassembling your MTW and correctly fitting the bucking, nub, and inner barrel. If you have previously worked on your own gearbox or HPA engine, the installation is straightforward.
