MDRX / AR10 | Mid-Cap | 78rds | Magazine | Silverback

This airsoft magazine from Silverback is a mid-cap airsoft magazine with a capacity of 78 BBs, specifically designed for the Desert Tech MDR-X airsoft replicas. The magazine is constructed from robust polymer and is driven by an AEG (automatic electric gun) system. With its compact form and reliable feeding, this is a practical choice for players seeking a good balance between capacity and realistic behaviour on the field.

Technical features and compatibility

This AEG magazine is finished in black and weighs just 0.1400 kilograms, making it lightweight and easy to carry in your loadout. The polymer housing provides durability without unnecessary weight. It is compatible with 6mm plastic BBs and fits specifically the Desert Tech MDR-X Electric AEG series. As a mid-cap airsoft magazine, the BBs remain silent during movement — unlike hi-cap magazines, where loose BBs can rattle and give away your position.

Practical use

This magazine is loaded manually from the top. Since a mid-cap has no wheel mechanism, filling it is quickest with a BB loader or speedloader. This prevents hassle and keeps feeding consistent during play. Once loaded, slide the magazine firmly into the magazine well of your MDR-X and it is ready for use. The fixed capacity of 78 BBs suits a tactical, controlled playstyle in which you manage your ammunition consciously.

Who is this magazine suited for?

This magazine is intended for players running a Desert Tech MDR-X on an AEG (automatic electric gun) platform. It is well suited to milsim participants and tactically minded players who prefer realistic behaviour and silent movement over maximum capacity. Those who like to play with multiple magazines will also benefit from the low weight and reliable feeding. For players who want a high volume of shots without reloading, a hi-cap may be more practical — but for an authentic experience, this mid-cap airsoft magazine is a solid choice.
