Our experience from the Shogun team

In practice, these RPS slugs stand out due to their consistent performance in heavy PCP systems. The flat nose design provides predictable flight behaviour, even in windy conditions. At distances up to 100 metres and beyond, these projectiles maintain their stability excellently. The heavy 127 grain mass gives these slugs the necessary penetration power, making them ideal for target shooting where a clean cut through the target is desired.

Technical properties in practice

With a calibre of 7.62mm and a weight of 127 grains, these slugs belong to the heavier category of air rifle ammunition. The lead material in combination with the Flat Nose shape ensures optimal energy transfer on impact. These technical properties translate into excellent long-range performance, with the slug retaining its energy well. Testing different velocities with a chronograph helps you find the ideal match between your air rifle and these slugs.
