RPS Pellets .58 – Heavy ammunition for powerful PCP air rifles

These RPS pellets in .58 calibre (14.73 mm) with a weight of 380 grain are developed for the most powerful PCP air rifles on the market. With this extreme weight and size, they perform optimally in air pressure systems from 300 joules upwards. These lead projectiles offer maximum energy transfer and are specially designed for shooters seeking precision at long distances.

Our experience from the Shogun team

Due to the heavy weight of 380 grain, these pellets retain their energy excellently, even at distances beyond 100 metres. The .58 calibre ensures a stable flight path with minimal wind sensitivity. These projectiles do require an air rifle with sufficient power to effectively drive the mass and achieve the correct muzzle velocity for optimal performance.

Technical features in practice

With a diameter of 14.73 mm and a weight of 380 grain, these are among the heaviest projectiles in their class. The lead material ensures maximum density and energy transfer on impact. The packaging contains 50 pieces, with each projectile carefully manufactured for consistent performance. Due to the extreme weight, the trajectory is flatter than with lighter alternatives, resulting in predictable shooting results.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?

These .58 calibre projectiles are designed for experienced shooters with powerful PCP systems specifically built for this size. They are best suited for precision pellet shooting at long distances where maximum energy transfer is desired. Testing different projectile weights using a chronograph provides insight into the optimal combination of speed and energy for your specific air rifle.
