What exactly does this gas do?

Red gas powers gas blowback (GBB) replicas by means of high pressure. The gas expands when fired, pushing the slide or bolt carrier backwards for realistic recoil. The higher pressure of 12 bar ensures that this process runs smoothly even at low temperatures, where green gas ceases to function due to pressure drop. This makes it ideal for winter conditions or replicas with heavier internal components.

Application and compatibility

This red gas is compatible with GBB pistols and GBBRs equipped with reinforced internal components, such as a full metal bolt. The type of gas is chosen based on the outside temperature: where green gas is effective up to about 10°C, red gas continues to function at much lower temperatures.
