We took this knife along on an autumn hike and used it for cutting rope and some light woodworking. The grip remained secure, even with wet hands, and the balance felt immediately familiar. The low weight in particular stood out positively on the trail.

The blade is made from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel, which holds an edge for a long time and offers excellent corrosion resistance. Thanks to the plain-edge grind and clip point blade shape, you can effortlessly cut through cardboard, wood, rope, and food. The full-tang construction also provides stability during heavier tasks.

Grip and ease of use

The black G10 handle features a fine texture that ensures a secure grip in wet and cold conditions. As this is a fixed blade knife, there is no opening mechanism and no locking mechanism required. The removable handle scales also make cleaning straightforward.
