Pellet Trap | 14x14 | 1 mm | Target Sports: compact airgun trap for home training

This pellet trap from Target Sports is a practical catch box for anyone looking to practise with airguns. The trap catches fired projectiles, allowing you to train safely indoors or in a sheltered outdoor environment without pellets ricocheting in all directions. With a front opening of 14x14 cm, this airgun trap offers sufficient surface area for precision practice at short range.

Construction and operation of this pellet trap

This trap is constructed from metal with a material thickness of 1 mm, making the build sturdy enough to absorb repeated pellet impacts. On the front, you place a paper target card in the format 14x14 cm; please note that target paper is not included as standard. The angled rear wall inside the trap guides the pellets downward, where they are collected. This keeps your practice area tidy and allows you to easily gather the spent pellets. The trap has a flat design and can be conveniently placed on a surface or hung in a suitable, safe location.

Application and power range of this airgun trap

This pellet trap is primarily intended for use with air rifle and air pistol pellets, as indicated by the product packaging ("Air Pistol"). It is a logical choice for indoor precision training or sheltered plinking at short range. As the packaging explicitly positions the trap for air pistols, it is most suited to the lower joule class. If you are using a more powerful air rifle, take into account the material thickness of 1 mm and assess for yourself whether the impact remains within a safe range. For calm, repetitive shooting and refining your aiming technique, this trap is excellently suited.

Who is this pellet trap suitable for?

Thanks to its compact dimensions of 14x14 cm and straightforward construction, this trap is pleasant to use for both beginners and recreational shooters who wish to train at home or in a fixed location. The trap requires little maintenance: periodically empty the collected pellets and replace the paper target card. As this airgun trap is flat and lightweight, it can be effortlessly moved to another location. Please bear in mind that you will need to purchase target paper separately to make full use of the shooting surface.
