Hikmicro Trail Camera T16 with Battery Compartment | 4x18650

The Hikmicro T16-18650 is a 4G trail camera that helps you observe wildlife and terrain without having to be there in person every time. Thanks to its powerful battery supply, this camera can operate autonomously in the field for weeks to months at a time – ideal for those who want to monitor without causing disturbance.

Our view on this trail camera

What immediately stood out to us about this trail camera is the peace of mind it provides. Because you need to visit the camera far less frequently, you leave less scent behind and wildlife continues to behave naturally. The swappable battery compartment for 4 × 18650 lithium-ion batteries is a smart choice: fewer battery changes and simply bringing a second set along when you're out in the field. For those who monitor intensively, this makes for a noticeably more practical experience in practice.

Technology and optical performance

Image quality is well taken care of here. You can capture photos at up to 24 megapixels and videos in Full HD 1920 × 1080 px – more than sharp enough for serious wildlife analysis. For observation in the dark, the camera uses 940 nm no-glow infrared illumination, which remains virtually invisible to animals. This allows you to record roe deer, foxes, geese, or wild boar without influencing their behaviour. The ultra-fast trigger response ensures you won't miss even the quickest passages.

In terms of technology, you can count on a swappable battery module, 64 GB internal storage, 4G LTE connectivity, and a robust, weather-resistant housing. The 18650 batteries also perform reliably at low temperatures. Want all the details? Have a look under the 'More information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

This trail camera is easily mounted using standard trail camera fixing options, such as a strap or screw attachment to a tree or post. The camouflage colouring helps to place this trail camera discreetly in the field, so you can get started with minimal preparation.

The camera is supplied including the battery compartment for 18650 batteries. The batteries themselves and a SIM card for the 4G connection are not included as standard – something worth bearing in mind.

Who is this trail camera intended for?

The T16-18650 truly comes into its own for intensive monitoring and remote locations. Think long-term observation of feeding stations, remote game fields, large estates, waterfowl areas, predator management, and wildlife surveys. This trail camera is also useful for monitoring property and equipment. In short: ideal for the land manager or active user who wants to gather maximum reliable data with minimal disturbance – in real time on their smartphone.
