During our bushcraft test, the balance of this hunting knife immediately stood out. Chopping branches was surprisingly smooth thanks to the wide blade. The ribbed grip provided good control even with wet hands, although the weight of 621 grams did feel heavy after prolonged use.

The 2Cr13 steel is a practical choice for this type of knife – it retains its edge reasonably well and is corrosion-resistant. The plain-edge cutting edge and cleaver shape make it ideal for chopping wood and heavy cutting tasks. Due to its size, this knife is less suitable for finer work.

Grip and ease of use

The handle, made from injection-moulded nylon with 30% fibres, feels solid. The ribbed texture and thumb notches provide excellent grip. The karambit-style pommel with open ring offers extra security during powerful chopping. This is a fixed blade knife without an opening mechanism.
