The Shogun team is impressed by the versatility of the Z4. With a length of 8.2 cm and a height of just 3 cm, this sight fits perfectly on compact replicas without disturbing the balance. The quick-release mount works smoothly and the five brightness levels make it usable from sunny days to twilight conditions. It's a no-nonsense red dot that does what it's supposed to do.

Technical and optical performance

The Z4 has a 1x magnification with a lens aperture of 23x34mm, providing a clear and wide field of view without magnification. The parallax is set at 1 MOA at 80 yards with unlimited eye relief – meaning your head doesn't need to be in a fixed position for a sharp aiming point. The sight runs on a CR2032 button cell battery and is resistant to shocks, rain and fog.

With four different red dot reticles, you can choose what works best for your application. The black aluminium housing is robust enough for intensive use and the adjustable windage and elevation allow for fine-tuning.

Mounting and compatibility

This sight is supplied with a quick-release Picatinny mount of 22mm. Note on Picatinny: this is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles – offering solid attachment and broad compatibility.
