Technical features in practice

With a diameter of 6.33mm, this slug fits snugly in most .25 calibre barrels, contributing to good sealing and energy transfer. The lead material is soft enough to conform to the rifling, while the weight of 28 grains provides enough mass to resist wind better than lighter projectiles. The hollow point construction not only ensures good energy transfer, but also helps to stabilise the projectile in flight by moving the centre of gravity forward.

Who is this air rifle slug suitable for?

This slug is ideal for experienced shooters with a powerful PCP system who are seeking precision at medium ranges. Thanks to the hollow point design, the projectile is also suitable for pest control, though we emphasise that the use of an air rifle for this purpose is legally regulated. In many cases, an exemption or hunting licence is required, and this is only permitted for recognised controllers or certified users.
