Our experience with the AirMaks Katran Pro
At Shogun we were immediately impressed by the well-thought-out construction of this air rifle. The aluminium housing feels solid without the weight of 3.09 kilograms becoming obtrusive. The folding mechanism operates smoothly and locks firmly - no play or wobbling parts. The side lever cocking system is pleasant to use and requires little force, which makes long shooting sessions enjoyable.
Technology, performance and variants
This PCP air rifle operates with a 200cc air cylinder that you can fill up to 300 bar. With a barrel length of 400mm and a magazine capacity of 14 pellets, this model offers an excellent foundation for consistent performance. The total length of 910mm is reduced to only 535mm when you fold the stock. This model is available in three variants: caliber 4.5mm, 5.5mm and 6.35mm. Use and operation
This air-powered weapon offers everything you may expect from a modern air rifle. The adjustable trigger allows you to set the resistance as desired, whilst the adjustable cheek piece ensures a perfect shooting position. The safety catch is positioned in a logical place and is easy to operate. Thanks to the Picatinny and M-LOK mounting rails you have complete freedom in choosing accessories. The single-action trigger system provides a direct, predictable release.
