Long Shotshells | #8 | 12.7mm | 167gr | 50pcs | Air Venturi

Air Venturi Long Shotshells – specialist air rifle ammunition for spread at short distance

The Air Venturi Long Shotshells are a unique type of air rifle ammunition specially developed for situations where you need controlled spread. With a caliber of 12.7mm and 167 grain of #8 shot per cartridge, these shotshells create an effective spread pattern of approximately 30 cm at 18 metres distance. This makes them suitable for powerful PCP air rifles from 300 joules that are equipped for .50 caliber ammunition.

Our experience from the Shogun team

These shotshells perform best in PCP systems with sufficient power to effectively propel the heavy load of 167 grain. The projectile consists of multiple small shot pellets that spread after leaving the barrel. At short distances up to approximately 20 metres you maintain a consistent spread, which makes this ammunition particularly useful for specific applications where a single projectile would be less effective. The construction with lead ensures sufficient mass per individual pellet.

Technical characteristics in practice

Each shotshell has a diameter of 12.7mm (.50 caliber) and a length of 26mm. The total load of 167 grain consists of #8 shot - small lead pellets that together form an effective spread pattern. The lead material ensures good energy transfer upon impact. Per package you receive 50 pieces, sufficient for extensive use. Due to the weight and spread, this ammunition is only suitable for powerful PCP air rifles with sufficient energy output.

For whom is this air rifle ammunition suitable?

This specialist ammunition is intended for experienced shooters with powerful .50 caliber PCP air rifles. The shotshells are ideal for situations where you need a larger impact area at short distance. Think of dynamic targets or moving objects where the spread offers an advantage. Due to the high weight of 167 grain and the special characteristics, this ammunition is exclusively suitable for air rifles with a minimum of 300 joules muzzle energy.
