AK47 | Rifle | EBB | Tokyo Marui

The Tokyo Marui AK47 Electric Blowback Rifle combines iconic AK design with modern airsoft technology. This AEG model runs on an 8.4V NiMH battery and features a blowback system that makes every shot tangible. The body is manufactured from a mix of polymer and metal, finished with a wood coat finish that replicates the classic look without the weight of real wood.

Experience & handling – AK47 | Rifle | EBB | Tokyo Marui

With a length of 87.5 cm and a weight of 3.1 kg, this is a full-size, solid model that feels good in the hands. The barrel length of 300 mm contributes to stable balance, whilst the hop-up is adjustable for fine-tuning. The blowback mechanism delivers a realistic recoil with each shot, which enhances the experience but also demands slightly more energy from the battery. Thanks to the AEG power source, you enjoy consistent performance throughout an entire skirmish day, provided you have a fresh battery to hand. Do bear in mind that the trigger response can be somewhat less immediate than with gas-powered models.

What makes the AK47 | Rifle | EBB | Tokyo Marui special?

The AK47 platform is renowned for its robust character and recognisable silhouette. Tokyo Marui's Next Generation series adds an authentic blowback system to this, with a moving bolt that responds with each shot. The wood coat finish on the polymer pistol grip and fore-end replicates the classic wood look, without the additional weight. The combination of metal and polymer components ensures a solid construction that withstands intensive use. Furthermore, this model features an auto-stop system that interrupts the cycle as soon as the magazine is empty.

Technology & performance – AK47 | Rifle | EBB | Tokyo Marui

The replica fires in both semi-automatic and fully automatic mode and delivers approximately 300 to 330 FPS with 0.20 gram BBs. The magazine capacity is 90 BBs, and spare magazines are available separately. As a power source, you use an 8.4V NiMH battery, which is not included but available separately. The adjustable hop-up offers scope for optimisation, depending on the BB weight you choose between 0.20 and 0.28 grams. It is advisable to regularly clean and lightly lubricate the gearbox and moving parts, so that the blowback mechanism continues to function smoothly. View all details in the 'specifications' tab.
