The first thing the Shogun team noticed about this air rifle is the solid tactical appearance combined with surprisingly good handling comfort. The synthetic stock with rubber inserts feels comfortable in the hand, even after prolonged shooting. The bolt-action system works smoothly and reliably, whilst the finish is typically GAMO: solid and functional without unnecessary frills.
Technology, performance and variants
As a PCP air rifle, the Coyote operates with a 150cc compressed air cylinder. This model is available in 5.5mm caliber with a power output of 40 joules and a muzzle velocity of 360 MPS (1181 FPS). The length is 98 cm, the barrel end features 1/2 UNF thread and the magazine capacity is 10 shots. With an optimal fill pressure of 232 bar, you can comfortably shoot 20-25 times per fill, whilst the 470mm long "Match" barrel ensures consistent precision. Curious about all the technical details? Use and operation
This air rifle features a 2-stage adjustable CAT trigger that breaks cleanly and can be adjusted to preference. The automatic safety catch engages when cocking the bolt for safe transport. The adjustable cheek piece helps you find the perfect shooting position. With a weight of 3.4 kg, this air rifle sits stable without becoming too heavy during longer shooting sessions.
