Our experience with the HPA Tactical Pack
What immediately stands out is how thoughtfully this air rifle is constructed. The ergonomics feel natural thanks to the adjustable cheek piece and the well-designed stock. The two picatinny rails on the sides are ideal for the included bipod. The bolt-action system operates smoothly and, with the 10-shot airgun magazine, you can effortlessly fire a full series. The CAT trigger already felt refined to us, but the great thing is that you can fully adjust it to your own preference – both trigger stages independently of each other.
Technology and performance
As a PCP system, this airgun operates on compressed air with a maximum fill pressure of 200 bar. The 485mm long barrel in combination with 40 joules of power delivers consistent, powerful performance. The CAT™ (Custom Action Trigger) system is a real highlight – you can adjust both stages of the trigger independently for the perfect trigger pull. Use and operation
The operation feels familiar to anyone with experience in bolt-action systems. The safety catch is in a logical position and the polymer/metal frame sits comfortably in the hand despite the weight of 3.9 kilograms. With the included Allen keys, you can adjust the CAT trigger precisely to your personal preference. Filling is done via a standard Gamo fill probe. The 11mm dovetail mounting rail provides space for your own rifle scope.
