What immediately stood out to us: how pleasantly low this red dot sits on the slide. This gives you a natural co-witness with your iron sights, which works well if you are accustomed to the standard sight line. Furthermore, the unit is surprisingly light and compact, and the side-loading battery tray is a small luxury you will truly appreciate the first time you change the battery without losing your zero.

Technology and optical performance of this red dot

At its core sits a 3 MOA red dot, projected through a window of 16x24 mm. The magnification is 1x, meaning you keep both eyes open and acquire targets quickly at close range. Parallax is effectively free (≤ 2 MOA) with a setting at 30 metres, and you have 11 brightness settings, two of which are compatible with night vision equipment. Click value is 1 MOA, with an adjustment range of at least 100 MOA for both elevation and windage.

The housing is made of 7075-T6 aluminium with a matte black finish, shock-resistant up to 1500G and waterproof to IPX7. At just 37 grams (including battery), you will barely notice it on your setup. The CR1632 battery lasts up to 50,000 hours, partly thanks to the motion sensor that automatically switches the sight off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Mounting and compatibility

This red dot sight has been specifically designed for the Walther PDP 2.0 footprint and therefore mounts directly onto the optics-ready slide — no adapter plate required. This not only saves hassle but also reduces height, keeping your sight line nice and low. For other slides or rails, a separate mount or footprint adapter is required, so check in advance whether your setup is compatible.
