During testing, the smooth action of the ball-bearing mechanism was immediately apparent – the blade opens effortlessly and closes with a satisfying click. The G10 handles offer a firm, tactical grip, even in wet conditions. The Kirke feels solid and balanced, with its 100 grammes sitting just right in the hand. The deep-carry clip makes pocket carry discreet and comfortable, ideal for everyday use.

The Nitro-V steel combines high cutting performance with excellent corrosion resistance. In practice, the Kirke cuts effortlessly through rope, cardboard or light branches. The black stonewash finish gives the blade a subdued, professional appearance and effectively masks signs of wear. Thanks to the flipper and thumb groove, opening is instinctive, whether left- or right-handed.
