Primary Arms Mini Reflex Sight – This red dot sight for rapid target acquisition

This Primary Arms MRS (Mini Reflex Sight) is a compact red dot sight that helps you aim quickly and accurately. With its bright 3 MOA red dot and large lens field of 24x17 mm, this sight offers a clear image without unnecessarily weighing down your setup.

Our opinion on this red dot sight

The Shogun team is impressed by the lightweight design – at just 47 grams, you’ll barely notice this sight on your replica. The fully multicoated lens remains clear, even in humid conditions or sudden temperature changes. Extra convenient: the battery lasts up to 40,000 hours on the average brightness setting.

Technology and optical performance

This Primary Arms red dot operates with a 1x magnification, meaning you can aim with both eyes open for maximum situational awareness. The 10 brightness settings make this sight usable from dusk to bright daylight. The turret-adjustable windage and elevation allow you to set the red dot precisely on your target indicator.

The housing is made from robust 6061 aluminium and the lens features a scratch-resistant coating. This makes the sight resistant to intensive use. For power, this sight uses a CR2032 battery that is accessible from underneath – so no hassle with disassembly when changing the battery.

Mounting and compatibility

This Primary Arms MRS uses the popular 507c footprint, meaning this sight is compatible with many different mounting solutions. Please note: this sight has no rail and is specifically designed for direct mounting on milled slides or with a separate adapter plate. For airsoft replicas, this means you will likely need an additional mount to attach it to a Picatinny rail.

Who is this red dot sight intended for?

This compact sight is perfect for airsoft players looking for a lightweight aiming device for their pistol replica or compact CQB setup. The sight is suitable for firearms, meaning the construction can withstand the recoil of real firearms – so for airsoft use, it is more than robust enough. Whether you play in dark CQB environments or on outdoor fields, the adjustable brightness always ensures a clearly visible red dot.
