Experience & handling – Recon 3.0 Viper S

With a barrel length of 275 mm and a total length of 73.5 cm, you get an all-round format that performs well both indoors and outdoors. The adjustable stock makes it quick to fit, and thanks to the Picatinny top rail and M-LOK rail system, you can easily add optics or a grip. AEG models run on a battery, making this the most hassle-free choice for long skirmish days—you don't need to reload with gas, just swap in a fresh battery now and then. Do bear in mind that trigger response can sometimes feel slightly less immediate than with gas-powered replicas, although a well-maintained AEG offers consistency throughout the day.

What makes the Recon 3.0 Viper S special?

The M4/AR15 platform is known for its broad compatibility with upgrades and standard parts. The mix of polymer and metal keeps the weight manageable without compromising on robustness, and the M-LOK rail system gives you complete freedom to set up your configuration exactly as you want. Additionally, a foregrip is included, providing immediate improved control. The firing mode selection includes semi-automatic, burst and automatic, so you can switch according to the situation.

Technical specifications & performance – Recon 3.0 Viper S

The magazine capacity is 140 BBs, and the replica runs on an 11.1v LiPo battery with a Deans connector. The Hop-Up is adjustable, as are the stock and the front and rear sights, allowing you to customise the whole setup to your preference. The barrel thread is 14 mm CCW, so you can easily mount a silencer or tracer. With AEGs, remember to clean the barrel regularly and lubricate the gearbox—this keeps performance stable.
