TM4 Red Dot – this red dot sight for rapid target acquisition

This TM4 red dot from Aim-O is a replica of the renowned Aimpoint CompM4. A robust aiming device that fits perfectly on airsoft replicas and air rifles. With its bright red dot, this sight makes aiming much faster – especially useful in dynamic shooting scenarios where you need to switch between targets quickly.

Our opinion on this red dot sight

The Shogun team is impressed by the build quality in this price range. This red dot feels solid thanks to the aluminium housing, and the compact size of 13 cm means it doesn’t feel bulky on your replica. The switchable red/green dot is a nice extra – green works better in bright daylight, while red is ideal at dusk.

Technology and optical performance

With a 1x magnification and 30 mm lens diameter, this sight offers a wide field of view without magnification – ideal for fast target acquisition. The red or green dot is adjustable in brightness, so you always have the right intensity for your environment. The sight operates on two LR44 batteries that last a long time.

The weight of 360 grams is acceptable for a red dot of this size. The splash-proof construction and fog-resistant coating ensure you can keep shooting even in changing weather conditions.

Mounting and compatibility

This red dot is mounted on a Picatinny rail – the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles. The sight is also compatible with Weaver rails, offering additional mounting options. The mount is integrated into the design, so you don’t need separate rings.

Extra convenient: Aim-O supplies this sight with lens caps included. This keeps your lenses protected during transport and storage.

Who is this red dot sight intended for?

Perfect for the airsoft player who wants to aim quickly without sacrificing precision. Also ideal for use on an air rifle when shooting at short to medium distances. Whether you are a beginner or advanced – this sight is intuitive to use. The red/green dot makes it suitable for both CQB scenarios and outdoor skirmishes where lighting conditions vary.
