Our experience with the Krait Lite L
The Shogun team was immediately impressed by this air rifle. The build quality is typically Airmaks: solid and well thought-out. What particularly stands out during shooting is the perfect balance - despite the compact format, the rifle rests surprisingly stable. The internal sound suppression system works excellently, allowing you to shoot comfortably without an additional moderator.
Technology, performance and variants
This PCP air rifle operates on compressed air with a maximum fill pressure of 300 bar. The German Lothar Walther barrel of 520 mm with 1/2 UNF threading guarantees excellent precision. The rifle has a length of 735 mm and weighs 2.9 kg. The Krait Lite L is available in two calibers: 5.5mm with a power output of 60 joules and 6.35mm. The 5.5mm model delivers more energy and is ideal for longer distances, whilst the 6.35mm caliber fires a heavier projectile for maximum impact. Curious about all the technical details? Use and operation
This air rifle feels immediately familiar. The safety catch is positioned in a logical place and operates intuitively. The side-lever cocking system works smoothly and requires little force. The walnut wood stock offers excellent grip and is fully adjustable: the length is extendable, the cheek piece adjustable and even the trigger position can be set to your preference. The magazine is included and enables quick reloading.
