Excite Hammer – heavy pellets for powerful air rifles

With a weight of 14.66 grain, these Excite Hammer pellets are on the heavier side for 4.5mm caliber. The flat nose shape makes them particularly suitable for card shooting and target shooting, with the flat head design ensuring clean, round impacts on paper targets. These projectiles perform best in powerful break barrel and PCP systems from approximately 25 joules, delivering stable performance up to around 50 metres.

Our experience from the Shogun team

The aerodynamic diabolo design of these pellets ensures a stable flight, especially at short to medium ranges. The flat nose shape leaves a clear, round mark on targets upon impact, making it much easier to read your shooting results. Thanks to the higher weight, they retain their energy well over distance, resulting in consistent grouping up to 50 metres with sufficient power.

Technical features in practice

This air rifle ammunition combines 4.5mm caliber with a 14.66 grain weight in a flat nose configuration. The lead material ensures optimal weight distribution and consistent performance shot after shot. With 500 pieces per pack, you have more than enough for extensive testing sessions. It pays to test different grains for maximum accuracy – a chronograph gives you immediate insight into energy output and helps you find the ideal match with your air rifle.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?

These Excite Hammer pellets are designed for shooters with more powerful air rifle systems who value clear impacts on targets. Perfect for benchrest shooting, plinking at medium distances, and competition shooting where precision and visible results are important. Recreational shooters using PCP systems or powerful break barrels will appreciate the stability and impact power of these heavier projectiles.
