JSB Exact Monster Redesigned – heavy pellets for powerful PCP air rifles

These JSB Exact Monster Redesigned pellets are specially developed for shooters who want to get the most out of their powerful air rifle. With a weight of 13.43 grains in 4.5mm caliber and a domed pellet shape, these projectiles are designed for PCP air rifles with sufficient power. The improved version of the original Monster pellets offers excellent performance at medium to long ranges, with aerodynamic properties that are optimally utilised in powerful air pressure systems from approximately 40 joules.

Our experience from the Shogun team

In our tests, it is immediately noticeable that this Redesigned version has significantly improved ballistics compared to the original design. The removed rim at the base ensures a more stable flight, especially noticeable beyond 50 metres. With powerful PCP air rifles, we see that these heavy projectiles maintain their velocity well and are less sensitive to wind. The domed shape contributes to a predictable trajectory, resulting in consistent groupings at distances up to 75 metres and beyond.

Technical features in practice

With a caliber of 4.5mm and a weight of 13.43 grains, these are among the heaviest pellets in their class. The domed pellet shape provides an optimal balance between aerodynamics and energy retention over longer distances. The lead material guarantees good deformation on impact for maximum energy transfer. The packaging contains 400 pieces, sufficient for extensive testing sessions to find the ideal match with your air rifle. Testing different grains remains important as every air rifle and shooter is unique – a chronograph can provide valuable insight into the actual energy output of your specific setup.

Who is this air rifle ammunition suitable for?

These heavy pellets are designed for experienced shooters with powerful PCP air rifles who want to shoot at medium to long ranges. Due to the higher weight, they require an air pressure system with sufficient power to give the projectiles the correct velocity. Shooters seeking precision at distances beyond 50 metres and who own a powerful air rifle will appreciate the stability and consistency of these pellets.
