Krait Tube AirmaksArms
If you're looking for a modern PCP air rifle that combines mobility with serious performance, then the Krait from AirmaksArms is definitely worth considering. This compact bullpup design has been specifically developed for recreational precision shooting and offers a unique combination of manoeuvrability and power in a lightweight package.
Our experience with the Krait Tube AirmaksArms
Upon first contact with the Krait, you immediately notice how well thought-out this air rifle is. The ergonomic AR15 grip sits naturally in the hand, and the external adjustability of the regulator and valve is a clever move by AirmaksArms. The anti-double feed system works excellently and prevents frustrations during shooting.
Technology, performance and variants
The Krait operates with a PCP system and has a 200cc air cylinder that you can fill up to 300 bar. With a barrel length of 400 mm and a total length of just 610 mm, this air rifle weighs only 2.76 kg. The magazine has a capacity of 16 pellets and the 1/2" UNF thread adapter with integrated moderator ensures quieter shots. This model is available in calibre 5.5mm (32 Joule) and 6.35mm (51 Joule). The difference in calibre primarily determines your shooting distance and penetration - the 5.5mm is perfect for precision at medium range, whilst the 6.35mm offers more power for longer distances. Curious about all the technical details? You'll find them under the heading 'More information' on this page.
Use and operation
This air rifle is fully adjustable to your preferences. The extendable stock, the height-adjustable cheek piece and the adjustable single-action trigger ensure that you always find the perfect shooting position. The safety catch is positioned in a logical place and operates smoothly. The smoothly operating side lever can be placed on either the left or right, making the loading process simple. Three Picatinny rails provide space for accessories, whilst the 22mm Weaver rail on top is perfect for your rifle scope.
Who is this air rifle intended for?
The Krait is ideal for the advanced shooter looking for a compact yet powerful PCP air rifle. Thanks to all the adjustment options and the well-designed construction, this is also an excellent choice for shooters who place great value on ergonomics during longer shooting sessions. Choose the 5.5mm variant for optimal precision, or opt for the 6.35mm if you need more power.
