Our experience with Package Deal | 7.62mm / .30 | M25 PCP Air Rifle | Snowpeak
The Shogun team particularly appreciates the solid construction of this air rifle. With a weight of 3.9 kilograms, the rifle sits stable in hand and the bolt-action system works remarkably smoothly. The polymer stock with through-cut pistol grip offers excellent ergonomics. The excellent 8-shot magazine is practical for repeated shooting, but does require high mounts for your rifle scope - a small adjustment that is well worth it for the performance offered.
Technology, performance and variants
This powerful air rifle operates on compressed air with a maximum fill pressure of 250 bar / 3625 PSI. The Snowpeak M25 delivers an impressive 110 Joule, making it one of the most powerful air rifles in its class. The reliable bolt-action system, 8-shot magazine and the 550mm long barrel with integrated suppressor ensure optimal performance. The 22mm Weaver top rail and Picatinny/Weaver mounting rails offer ample possibilities for mounting a rifle scope, which is necessary as the rifle has no iron sights. Curious about all the technical details? You'll find them under the heading 'More information' on this page.
Use and operation
You operate this air-powered weapon via the robust bolt-action system that works smoothly and reliably. The single action trigger system is adjustable for personal preference. The safety catch and internal regulator give complete control over shooting behaviour. The magazine with 8-shot capacity protrudes above the barrel, but this is amply compensated by the convenience of quick reloading during longer shooting sessions.
Who is this air rifle intended for?
This PCP air rifle is exclusively suitable for experienced shooters who are familiar with powerful air rifles. At 110 Joule, this is absolutely not a beginner's model, but a professional instrument for serious precision work at longer distances. The complete package does make starting immediately straightforward, but knowledge of safe handling of powerful air rifles remains essential.
