Green Dot SLx Gemini 9mm Primary Arms – this sight for rapid target acquisition

This MicroPrism red dot sight from Primary Arms combines the best of both worlds: the clarity of prism optics with the compact dimensions of a traditional red dot. With a green dot that remains perfectly visible in bright daylight, this sight offers you the speed and precision you're looking for in airsoft, air rifle or sport shooting.

What we think of this sight

The Shogun team is impressed by the build quality of this SLx model. It feels surprisingly solid for a sight weighing just 215 grams, and the green dot really stands out – even in overcast weather. The MicroPrism technology ensures you can still aim even without a battery, which we consider a clever backup feature.

Technical and optical performance

With a 1x magnification and 20mm lens diameter, this red dot sight gives you a clear, undistorted image without magnification – perfect for rapid target acquisition. The green dot is powered by a CR2032 battery and offers multiple brightness levels for use in various lighting conditions. The robust aluminium housing has been tested with over 7,000 rounds of .308, so recoil resistance is no problem with air rifles or CO₂ replicas.

With a length of just 6.3 cm, this sight fits effortlessly on compact setups. The included lens covers protect your optics during transport and storage.

Mounting and compatibility

This sight is supplied with a mount for Picatinny and Weaver rails. Picatinny is the standard on airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles – this offers solid mounting and broad compatibility. The ultra-compact design is specifically developed to work together with back-up iron sights and magnifiers, giving you maximum flexibility in your setup.

Who is this sight intended for?

Whether you're a beginner airsoft player looking for your first red dot, or an experienced sport shooter wanting a reliable sighting device for your air rifle – this SLx sight suits both. It is suitable for air rifles, suitable for airsoft and even suitable for firearms, which underlines its versatility. The green dot is particularly useful for shooters who struggle with red dots or frequently shoot in wooded environments where green provides better contrast.
