If you're looking for a versatile rifle scope that performs excellently at both short and long distances, then this 3-9x50 AO SFP from RAM-Tactical is an excellent choice. With a variable magnification of 3x to 9x and a generous 50mm objective lens, this rifle scope offers the flexibility you need for various shooting disciplines.

What we think of this rifle scope

The Shogun team is impressed by the complete equipment that RAM-Tactical supplies. This rifle scope feels solid and the included accessories such as the Sun Shade and flip-up lens caps make it ready to use straight away. The multi-coated lenses deliver a surprisingly clear image for this price range, even at dusk.

Technology and optical performance

The 3-9x50 magnification makes this rifle scope suitable for various applications. The Mil-dot reticle assists with estimating distances and wind correction. The Second Focal Plane (SFP) construction keeps the reticle constant in size, which is convenient for novice shooters. With a tube diameter of 1 inch (25.4mm), this rifle scope fits most standard mounts.

The parallax adjustment (AO - Adjustable Objective) ensures that you can focus sharply at different distances without suffering from parallax error. The 1/4 MOA click adjustments give you precise control over your point of aim. This rifle scope is also built to be shock-, water- and fog-resistant.

Mounting and compatibility

RAM-Tactical has thought of everything: this rifle scope is supplied with two mounts for both 11mm and 22mm rails. The 11mm mount is ideal for traditional air rifles with a dovetail rail, whilst the 22mm mount fits perfectly on Picatinny/Weaver rails that are standard on airsoft replicas and modern PCP air rifles.

The included CR2032 battery suggests that this rifle scope may have an illuminated reticle, although this is not explicitly stated. Useful for use in poor light conditions!

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

This versatile rifle scope is perfect for the recreational shooter looking for one optic for different applications. Whether you're precision shooting with your air rifle at 25 metres, playing airsoft in wooded environments or observing targets at greater distance – this rifle scope offers the flexibility you're looking for. The complete set of accessories makes it an excellent choice for beginners who want to get started immediately without additional purchases.
