Side Focus Wheel for Tauron Rifle Scope | Vector Optics

Vector Optics Tauron Side Focus Wheel

This is not a sighting device in itself, but it is a highly practical accessory that makes operation considerably more comfortable: the Side Focus Wheel for the Vector Optics Tauron rifle scope. The enlarged wheel gives you more grip and a smoother, more consistent adjustment of your parallax – ideal when you want to focus quickly and precisely without losing your position.

Our thoughts on this rifle scope accessory

What immediately stood out to us: it simply feels solid and well-finished. The enlarged diameter means you can adjust the focus with less effort and greater control, especially when wearing gloves. A handy detail is that three different rubber sleeves are included, allowing you to get a precise fit on your Tauron knob. A small component, but a significant difference in ease of use.

Construction and optical performance

The wheel is built around a housing of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy, providing strength, long-term stability, and excellent resistance to bending. The outer diameter is 88 mm, the inner diameter 41 mm, and the thickness 23 mm. Weighing just 56 grams, you add virtually no mass to your setup, while the handling is noticeably improved.

Inside the packaging you will find three Nitrile rubber (NBR) sleeves with an internal diameter of 38.5 mm, 36.3 mm, and 34.5 mm, plus a T10 Torx key and an H2 hex key for mounting. If you would like to review all the exact dimensions at your leisure, please refer to the 'More information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

This accessory is specifically designed for the side focus knobs of the Vector Optics Tauron rifle scope. Thanks to the three included sleeves, the wheel fits neatly onto various knob diameters, ensuring a secure and reliable fit. It is easily mounted using the included Torx and hex keys – tools are included in the box.

Please note: this is a separate accessory, not a complete sighting device. It is intended as a supplement to an existing Tauron scope and cannot be used independently.

Who is this accessory intended for?

This wheel is intended for anyone already using a Vector Optics Tauron rifle scope who wishes to refine its operation. Think of the sport shooter who wants to focus quickly and sensitively during static setups, or the user who simply wants more grip on the parallax adjustment. If you value comfort and consistency when fine-tuning your image, this is a logical, practical upgrade.
