Taurus GenII | 4-32x56 ED | FFP | Vector Optics – this rifle scope for long-range precision shooting

If you're serious about precision shooting, then this rifle scope is exactly what you're looking for. The Vector Optics Taurus GenII combines an impressive 4-32x magnification with high-quality ED glass for sharp images at great distances. This robust scope is designed for marksmen who want to get the maximum out of their setup, whether you're at the range or observing in the field.

What we think of this rifle scope

The Shogun team is impressed by the build quality of this Taurus GenII. The sturdy aluminium housing feels solid and the 34 mm tube offers a wide field of view. What particularly stands out is the clarity of the image, even at maximum magnification. The zero-stop function works intuitively and the audible clicks provide confidence during adjustment.

Technology and optical performance

With a magnification range of 4-32x and an objective lens diameter of 56 mm, this rifle scope delivers exceptional performance. The ED glass (Extra-low Dispersion) ensures minimal chromatic aberration and a razor-sharp image. The First Focal Plane (FFP) construction means that the Mil-dot reticle scales with the magnification, keeping distance estimation consistent at every magnification level.

The fully multi-coated lenses maximise light transmission, resulting in a clear image even at dusk. With 1/10 MIL adjustments per click, you can make very precise corrections. The weight and length of 36 cm make this scope suitable for stationary setups where precision is paramount.

Mounting and compatibility

This rifle scope is mounted on a Picatinny rail - this is the standard for airsoft replicas and many PCP air rifles. This mounting method offers secure attachment and broad compatibility with various platforms. The 34 mm tube diameter does require suitable mounting rings, which must be purchased separately. Make sure you choose rings that can accommodate this larger diameter for optimal stability.

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

The Taurus GenII is ideal for advanced marksmen who want to perform at long range. Whether you're shooting field target, playing long-range airsoft or want to observe accurately - this scope delivers the performance you need. Due to its wide magnification range, it's suitable both for medium-range work from 4x and for true long-distance precision at 32x. This rifle scope particularly comes into its own with static shooting setups.
