Sensor and Image Display

The TC19 uses an uncooled VOx microbolometer with a sensor resolution of 256 × 192 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. The thermal sensitivity (NETD) is below 18 mK and the sensor operates within a spectral range of 8–14 µm. The image is displayed on a 3.1-inch AMOLED display (600 × 450 pixels) with a frame rate of 50 Hz. You can choose from the palettes White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, and IronBow, and brightness and contrast are adjustable. When used for observation without magnification, the system operates at a base magnification of 1.2×, expandable with digital zoom up to 8×. The specified detection range is 900 metres.

Technology and Operation

Focusing is done manually via the focus ring, with a minimum focus distance of 1 metre. For zeroing, the model features a digital reticle, 5 zeroing profiles, and Freeze Zeroing. The TC19 has a shutterless imaging system (HSIS), Picture-in-Picture, and Hot Tracking. Power is supplied via a single replaceable, rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a battery life of up to approximately 4 hours; charging and external power are via USB-C. Images and video are stored in the 4 GB internal memory, and via Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz) you can stream and connect with the HIKMICRO Sight app. The system has an IP67 rating.

Included as standard are an 18650 battery, a Killflash lens protector, an O-ring, a USB-C cable, a cleaning cloth, a carrying case, and a quick-start guide. Please note that the TC19 operates with passive thermal imaging technology and does not have an infrared illuminator or laser rangefinder. The mount is designed for a picatinny rail.
