ZF39 Rifle Scope for Kar98 – This rifle scope for historical precision

This S&T ZF39 rifle scope is a replica of the classic German sight from the Second World War, specially designed for the Kar98. With its 4x26 magnification, this rifle scope offers an excellent balance between field of view and magnification for airsoft replicas with historical character.

What we think of this rifle scope

The Shogun team particularly appreciates the authentic appearance and sturdy construction of this rifle scope. The compact format of 276 mm and relatively light weight of 533 grammes make it a practical addition to your Kar98 replica without disrupting the balance. The combination of aluminium and steel feels robust.

Technology and optical performance

With a magnification of 4x and an objective lens of 26 mm, this rifle scope delivers a clear image for medium-range distances. The Duplex-cross reticle is simple but effective – the thick outer lines assist with quick target acquisition, whilst the fine crosshair in the centre enables precise aiming. The lens diameter of 30 mm ensures sufficient light transmission, even in less ideal lighting conditions.

This rifle scope has no parallax correction, which is typical for historical replicas. For airsoft purposes at normal distances, this is not a problem. More technical specifications can be found in the 'More information' tab.

Mounting and compatibility

This ZF39 rifle scope is supplied with a specific mount that fits Kar98 replicas. The mount type falls under Other, which means it does not use a standard Picatinny or Dovetail rail, but a historically correct attachment that belongs to the Kar98. The mount is already attached to the rifle scope, so you only need to mount the entire unit onto your replica.

Who is this rifle scope intended for?

This rifle scope is perfect for airsofters who value historical correctness and an authentic appearance of their Kar98 replica. Whether you participate in WWII-themed airsoft events or simply appreciate classic militaria, this rifle scope adds both functionality and authenticity to your setup. It is suitable for airsoft use and offers the right magnification for effective play at medium range.
